SANTA MONICA UNITED FC ANNOUNCES 2008 SOCCER CAMP ... JULY 21-25

Santa Monica United Football Club will be hosting its inaugural Summer Soccer Camp for boys and girls ages 6 to 13 years old, open to the public, and for players of all levels of skill and experience.

A week long summer soccer camp featuring high level training, games and fun.  Coaching and games will focus on Individual Technique, e.g., Dribbling, Passing, Receiving, Finishing, and Tactics, and Goalkeeping.  Campers will be involved in a variety of fun exercises and activities, 1v.1's, 2v.2's and small sided games, and scrimmages.

          WHEN: Monday - Friday
                               July 21-25
                               9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

          LOCATION: South Airport Park
                                      Santa Monica

          INCLUDED: Ball, T-Shirt, Water, Snacks, and Prizes

          TUITION: $320 (Early registration prior to July 1: $300)

Coast Soccer League has just announced its bracketing for the upcoming season and Santa Monica United F.C. congratulates the following teams for getting promoted to a higher playing level for the 2008 fall CSL season:

Boys:
          BU11 SM United B97 ... BRONZE to SILVER
                    - Coaches: Manu Appelius & Ian Rubenstein
          BU12 SM United B96 ... BRONZE to SILVER
                    - Coaches: Peter Bartlett & Manu Appelius
          BU18 SM United B90 ... SILVER to SILVER ELITE
                    - Coaches: Mike Erush & Mort Marthinsen
